Planting Good Seeds

Product Description

Author: Collin Hansen

Artist: Shawnda Craig

About Product:

A gentle elephant walks into a town where no one smiles and gives three frowning farmers a single seed each, promising a good fruit tree to any who plant, water, and care for it. One farmer seeks out wisdom, follows a bird's counsel to prune his tree, and weathers a storm that topples the others. In warm rhyme and bright art, this picture book teaches children that the seeds we plant—through kind heart, word, and deed—grow into fruit that blesses everyone.

• A charming elephant-and-seeds fable that teaches kids the payoff of patience and wise counsel

• Rhyming read-aloud with a clear, gentle moral perfect for bedtime or Primary

• The pruned tree that 'dances in the storm'—a memorable image of deep roots

• Rooted in Proverbs 13 but accessible to any family wanting a values-based story

Perfect for a parent, grandparent, or Primary teacher looking for a gentle rhyming picture book that teaches children about listening to wise counsel and the good fruit of kindness.
