About Product: Of the standard works, the Book of Mormon has the least female representation. There are three women specifically named: Sariah, Abish, and Isabel the harlot, but there are 40 women or groups of women referred to who are examples to us, for good or ill. The wife of King Lamoni, the mothers of the stripling warriors, the daughters of Ishmael, and others teach us valuable lessons about testimony, strength, and lasting conversion that we could not learn any other way. Replete with beautiful photographs that add dimension and scope to the lives of these incredible women, this volume is a perfect companion to your study of the Book of Mormon.
About the Contibutors: Heather’s love for the women in scriptures began when her oldest son was born around Christmastime and she felt a kinship with Mary, the mother of Jesus. As she researched Mary, she realized that there were hundreds of women in the scriptures, but very little had been written about them. She shared what she learned on her popular blog, womeninthescriptures.com. Author Residence: Boone, IA
