About Author:Kathleen was born in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains. She grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, where she also attended university and became a teacher. As a single mother, Kathleen returned to school for a master’s degree in counseling and ten years later, a Doctorate in Child and Youth Studies. She is a retired teacher, counselor, and administrator, and the author of three books: All Alone: Surviving the Loss of a Spouse; When a Loved One Dies; and A Pig in the Kitchen. She and her late husband, Carmon Buntin (who passed away in 1982), have four children, fourteen grandchildren, and—at last count—twelve great-grandchildren. Author Resididence: Gold Canyon,
