Shipping
All orders ship the same business day, or the following business day whenever possible. Most packages ship via Canpar Courier unless you indicate Canada Post in the notes.
**Due to the ongoing rise in shipping costs, we have no choice but to adjust our shipping rates. Effective January 10th, 2025, our standard shipping fee will be $12.95.
This decision was not made lightly, and we want to be transparent about the reasons behind this change. As we are a small family run business and not a multinational corporation, we do not have the ability to access the volume discounts that large marketplace corporations can use to offer cheap or free shipping. To help you understand what we are facing, here is an overview of the shipping costs that we are charged today:
Shipping via Canada Post
Canada Post offers prepaid boxes, which are currently the most economical way for us to ship. The cost of these boxes ranges from $17.99 for Extra Small to $32.99 for Large. Given the ongoing labor strike and the difficulties that Canada Post is facing, we anticipate that these prices will likely increase again in the near future.
Shipping via Canpar
The average cost for shipping with Canpar is approximately $16.46. However, depending on the size and weight of the package, this cost can be significantly higher. We regularly encounter shipping charges ranging from $45 to $50 for larger or heavier packages.
Shipping via other carriers such as UPS, Purolator, FedEx, and others.
Costs with these carriers are typically 30%-60% higher than what is available to us via Canada Post or Canpar.
While we are implementing this new flat shipping rate of $12.95, we want to assure you that if we can ship your package for less, we will refund you the difference. This would typically apply in cases where your order is small enough to be shipped via Canada Post regular mail, which may incur a lower cost.

Shipping Options
You may have noticed that our shipping rates change from time to time. We are constantly experimenting to find what works best for the most people. All orders are subsidized to $8.50 Flat Rate, with the option to choose XPresspost or Priority shipping (sometimes a faster delivery though Canpar Express seems to be the fastest.). We know that shipping is expensive, so we try to give you the best deal possible!

Returns Policy
You may return most new, unopened, undamaged items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund much quicker. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
