About Author: Sweat is an assistant professor of Church history and doctrine at Brigham Young University. His most recent books include The Holy Invitation, Christ in Every Hour, and Mormons: An OpenBook. He received a BFA in painting and drawing from the University of Utah and master’s and PhD degrees in education from Utah State University. He and his wife, Cindy, are the parents of seven children and reside in Utah.
