While painting Resurrection and the Life, my main goal was to portray Jesus Christ as someone to whom I could relate as a real person. I wanted the viewer to understand that He actually does exist and is more than just a figure in ancient stories. Jesus Christ truly has overcome all things and He really has risen from the grave. He is real! I know that, and I hope to share that knowledge with others through this painting.
