About Author:
Russell Ricks is a second-generation artist from the Don Ricks family. Raised in Rexburg, Idaho, Russell grew up in a family bursting with creative energy. His father owned a sign-painting company, where Russell received his start in painting. He studied art at both BYU and BYU-Idaho, and during his lifelong career as a visual artist, his artwork has been collected throughout the United States. He is also well known for his monumental indoor wall murals. His murals grace the walls of some major corporations such as, Cabela's, Novatek, and Alcoa, Inc. Russell married Karen LaRee Samuelson on November 26, 1999 and they form a blended family with seven sons and seven daughters. They are also the grandparents to twenty-five grandchildren and counting.
