The Pearl of Great Price Reference Companion addresses nearly 400 topics on the Pearl of Great Price—people, places, words, phrases, doctrines, and analyses of the book of Moses, book of Abraham, Joseph Smith–Matthew, Joseph Smith–History, the Articles of Faith—and much more. The entries have been prepared by some of the finest scholars in the Church, including faculty members from the departments of Ancient Scripture and Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University, teachers from Seminaries and Institutes, researchers from the Church Historical Department and the Maxwell Institute, and others. This volume offers readers a unique approach to better understand the history and revelations contained in the Pearl of Great Price. It brings together teachings on a myriad of subjects, augmented with references from other scriptures and teachings of latter-day prophets. In addition, it is fully cross-referenced to its two sister volumes, The Book of Mormon Reference Companion and The Doctrine and Covenants Reference Companion, providing further information and insights on parallel topics from the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants.
