When President Russell M. Nelson bore this testimony in the Rome Italy Temple Youth Devotional, he was doing what all the Presidents of the Church had done before him. As a prophet of God, he bore witness of our Lord and Savior. From Joseph Smith on, the latter-day prophets have all proclaimed that Jesus is the Christ and the Son of God.
