About Product: It is an enduring theme for followers of Christ that except [we] be converted, and become as little children, [we] shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.”(Matthew 18:3). In this painting I wanted to portray the comfort of the two children in Christ’s presence. Christ’s red robe is meant to symbolize his royal birth – truly He was the only begotten of the Father, the Son of the living God. His humility is apparent as he went among the people. I wanted to show him in this domestic, slightly rural scene, happy to teach and comfort these ordinary children.
