About the Author: Nick and Mendy Greenwood grew up in different North Carolina cities and met at the beach, right after high school graduation. They were married in February 1991. Together, they worked toward Nick’s BFA from East Carolina University, and starting in 1995, they had four beautiful daughters. In twenty-seven years of marriage, they have moved twelve times, faced numerous health challenges, career changes, broken-down cars, sparse cupboards, teenage angst, mood swings, ups, downs, highs, lows, and STILL, their favorite place to be is anywhere—together. Their secret to a long and happy marriage is this: Hold hands, say please and thank you, and never stop dating. Nick is an award-winning illustrator/graphic designer and Mendy works in public affairs. They are both blessed to work out of the home so they tag-team the home schooling of their youngest two daughters.
