Liken the Scriptures
Ammon and Lamoni (formally titled "A Mighty Change of Heart") is Episode 2 in the "Liken the Scriptures" series
When teenager McKay Andreson (Brad Warwood) brings home inappropriate music, a scripture question from his younger brother Spencer (Garrett Summers) triggers a lesson neither of them will ever forget. Ammon and Lamoni features the story of Ammon (T.J. Young) on his perilous mission to the land of King Lamoni (Daniel Beck), where one true believer, Abish (Katherine Nelson), awaits. When Lamoni hears from his servants how Ammon courageously defended the royal flocks from a band of thieves, it opens the door for a mighty change of heart—not only for him, but for his queen (Deborah Stapley), the people of his kingdom, and one modern-day teenager. Featuring original, new songs by Aaron Edson.
I love the music and spirit of this DVD! Amazing!
This one is great. Daniel Beck as King Lamoni is perfect, and the whole cast is fun. The message is powerful and I'd suggest this DVD for every family.
We turned this on for the kids at a family reunion and everyone - adults included were hooked! I love the music and all the corny jokes!
My family likes this movie a lot. It isn't our favorite but we enjoyed it. I am very glad we spent the money to get it. Brian in an earlier review says the bear was bad. I agree the bear and honey joke was goofy and my children didn't even put forth a chuckle, but the music and story was great. 'A mighty change of heart' is very touching. My children love 'We are dead' and 'We're alive.' I try to never give a top rating for anything because I think everything can be improved but I suggest you buy this.
This movie is as good as the first one. All of my children (ranging in age from my 17-year-old to my 4-year-old) love it. It is entertaining, funny, and teaches the story of Ammon. It is worth every penny I paid for it.
They nailed it again! It's not a carbon copy of the first movie, yet all the elements that made 'I Will Go and Do' so great are there. Although this movie is a lot of fun, the message is mature and deeply spiritual. Beautiful music! Thanks Liken for enriching our home!
I continue to marvel at the gifts given to this young man, Aaron Edson. I have been watching him for some time and listening to much of his music. What a blessing to have a venue to give back to the Lord the talents that have so richly been bestowed upon him.
You want to be more faithful and righteous after watching this!!!!!!!!
